Facilities/Maintenance Technician - SECOND SHIFT APC - Nashua NH
SECOND SHIFT - Monday through Friday - 3:00pm-11:30pmThis position is primarily responsible for the routine maintenance, repair and installation of complex printed circuit board manufacturing equipment, with additional expectations of flexibility to support some facility needs as situations may arise/dictate.Duties/Responsibilities: Routine/Emergency maintenance of HVAC, Boilers, Chillers, Fume Scrubbers, and Compressor Systems that support the facility. Utilization of a Building Management System (BMS) to maintain various facility area environmental needs and use of the system to diagnosis/adjust as needed when issues arise. Maintaining the chemistries required to efficiently operate Boiler and Chiller systems. Ensuring the State of NH and OSHA required specifications of chemical fume ventilation is maintained in accordance with all specifications. Ensuring that annual required State of NH inspections of Boilers are completed as required. Test pipe or tubing joints or connections for leaks, using pressure gauge or soap-and-water solution. Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring. Reassemble and test equipment following repairs. Install, connect, and adjust thermostats, humidistats, various controllers, etc. inspect and test systems to verify system operation/specifications to detect and locate potential malfunctions as part of the routine preventative maintenance schedule. Diagnose systems & troubleshoot emergency equipment issues in a timely and efficient manner. A working knowledge of all aspects of AC power (3 phase to single phase) and DC power, electronics, computers,as pertains to equipment in a manufacturing environment that includes complex systems that integrate all these functions to allow the equipment to operate. Experience with Hitachi Drill and Orbotech Automated Optical Inspection equipment a plus, but not required. This position is responsible for managing all shop floor activities related to the QC/ QA & AOI inspection areas and requires strict adherence to our quality management systems to ensure customer satisfaction and expectations are met and/or exceeded. This individual will interface with supervisors across all functional departments and achieve the highest productivity, quality, and departmental cost goals as established by Amphenol. He/she will manage employee personal development through clear objectives and provide a safe work environment. This position is responsible for supporting the planning and scheduling processes, from customer order confirmation through fulfillment. The production control team accomplishes this applying MRP specific actions, order scheduling, production milestones tracking, capacity planning, and working with critical functions in the organization to remove obstacles.Duties/Responsibilities: Monitors, tracks, reports, advises, and conducts production-planning processes in order to ensure the organization meets customer delivery requirements and expectations. Supports sales activities, new product introduction, and other demand fulfillment activities. Maintains ERP/MRP system parameters and processes, generates and releases work orders, reschedules by order action reports, maintains area capacity plans and/or provides production forecasts. Creates, prioritizes and expedites production orders in the ERP system to meet planned shipment commitments. Communicates with business units regarding production needs and escalations. This position is responsible for review of supplier documentation including First Article, drawing, balloon drawings and certifications. May require performing inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process and finished product to ensure that quality standards and process controls are being met. Generating the appropriate internal documentation, records and reports.Duties/Responsibilities: Review and acceptance of Supplier First Article Inspections in accordance with AS9102 Working directly with suppliers to correct FM and other documentation errors in a timely manner. Review of all supplier related documentation. Maintaining a database/log of supplier FM materials. Scanning of finalized Supplier documents. Incoming inspection of hardware, etc. to supplier and customer prints. Perform physical measurements with the use of a scope, micrometer, Vernier, pin gauges, micro view or similar. Follow process instructions on work documents such as batch cards, and Inspection Reports. Work safely to prevent injuries and follows all safety regulations. This position may require overtime for coverage on alternate shifts and weekends.            May be required to cross train in other departments.
